I have occasion to speak at conferences such as OAUG on the topic of securing the Oracle technology stack. I generally do an informal show of hands at these sessions to determine how diligent companies are about applying the Oracle CPUs. In general, the response is good with most people reporting they are either patched current or just one CPU behind. I assume these results are biased since the sample consists of people attending a session about Oracle security. Other polls have reported a much slower uptake of the CPU patches.
